How to play the Racing Simulator.

Watch the walkthrough first, then use the step-by-step cards below to practise race reading, staking, running the result, and reviewing your decisions.

Fake-money only Strategy practice No real bets

1. Watch the walkthrough

This is the first thing a new user should see. Add your video URL when ready, and use the image panel for a racecard screenshot or annotated guide image.

2. Quick start

  1. Load a race. Guests can play the Daily Race. Logged-in subscribers can search for a new subscriber race.
  2. Study the racecard. Compare odds, favourite labels, going, distance, field size, form, draw, jockey and trainer context.
  3. Check E/W terms. Place and each-way buttons only activate when valid place terms are available.
  4. Build a fake-money slip. Choose Win, Place or Each-way and set your stake in whole pounds.
  5. Run the race. The animation reveals a historical result; it is not live pace data.
  6. Review the result. Study settled bets, notes, strategy matches and performance history.

3. Strategies and notes

Saved strategies let you test repeatable rules, such as going, field size, odds range, class, or performance metrics. Turn auto-apply on when you want a selected strategy to check each new race automatically.

  • Use notes to record what you saw before and after a race.
  • Pin important notes beside the bet slip for quick reminders.
  • Review history to spot patterns in staking, bet types and race conditions.

4. Important limits

The simulator is built for practice and entertainment. It uses fake money, historical race data and simulated presentation. Winnings are not withdrawable, and nothing on the game is betting advice or a guaranteed outcome.
